个人简介

谭忠平研究员1992年考⼊北京⼤学化学学院,跟随王剑波教授研究“重氮化合物相关的化学转化”等重要有机化学反应及其机理。1997 年取得北京⼤学学⼠学位,2000 年获得北京⼤学硕⼠学位,同年到美国哥伦⽐亚⼤学化学系 Virginia Cornish 教授课题组留学,2005 年获得化学生物学博⼠学位。从 2005 年到 2011 年,在纽约纪念斯隆-凯特琳癌症中⼼Samuel Danishefsky 教授课题组从事博⼠后研究。2011年加入美国科罗拉多⼤学从事独⽴科学研究,2018年加入中国医学科学院北京协和医学院药物研究所合成药物化学研究室。

研究方向

谭忠平研究员主要从事糖蛋⽩相关研究。 由于难于获得适合⽤于研究的糖蛋⽩分⼦,科学界对这类⽣物⼤分⼦的了解一直非常落后。利⽤优化的化学合成技术,谭忠平研究员探索出了⼀种新的化学生物学策略进⾏糖蛋⽩研究。这个策略的核⼼是在研究中充分考虑和反映糖蛋⽩的多异型体混合物的天然存在形式,从而能够解决以前难以触及的问题。根据这个策略,利⽤化学合成⾼度灵活和精确的优势,通过模拟糖蛋⽩的天然存在形式,谭忠平研究员构建了多个糖蛋⽩异型体的分⼦⽂库。通过逐个⽐较分⼦⽂库内糖蛋⽩异型体的结构和性质,谭忠平研究员在国际上⾸次系统阐述了蛋⽩氧糖基化结构和性能之间的关系,并把它成功地应⽤到了药⽤蛋⽩和酶的糖基化改造中。
