作为课题负责人主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目、面上项目等项目、国家重点研发计划课题/子课题，作为主要研究人员参与新药重大创制专项、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划培育项目等研究多项。发表中英文论文多篇，参与编译多部学术专著，包括《Julien精神药理学》、《沈渔邨精神病学》、《神经生物学》等。

主要从事神经精神疾病的发病机制及治疗研究。研究方向包括药物成瘾、应激相关疾病如抑郁症以及神经系统疾病如多发性硬化症的发病机制及治疗等。
