Brief Introduction

Dr. Zhang engaged in the research of new methods of mass spectrometry and its application in biomedical analysis. She has undertaken and participated in more than 20 national scientific research projects. Published more than 60 SCI papers, and applied for 4 patents. Dr. Zhang has developed advanced mass spectrometry imaging technology and multi-functional liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) method, aiming to obtain new understanding of metabolic network and its regulation rules. The current research work is divided into the following aspects.

1) Metabonomics technology development, including cell metabonomics, spatial resolved metabolic flux, in situ derivatization mass spectrometry imaging.

2) Discovery and verification of functional metabolites.

3) Evaluation of early efficacy and toxicity of drugs.

4) Metabolic basis of sex-related diseases.
