Brief Introduction

Yang Xiuying is working at the National Drug Screening Center of the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. She got her PhD degree in pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College in July 2007. In 2008 and 2014, She conducted post-doctoral research on diabetes at McGill University Health Science Center in Canada and the University of Oklahoma in the United States. Her main research interests are to study the disease mechanisms of metabolic diseases and discover new drugs for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, and the complications. Her research mainly focuses on the establishment of drug screening models for metabolic diseases, especially GPCR-related drug screening and pharmacological study.
