Brief Introduction

Licheng got his PhD from National University of Singapore, where he investigated asymmetric catalysis under the supervision of Prof. ZHAO Yu. Then he moved to Hans Renata group at Scripps Research Institute to study the chemoenzymatic synthesis. In 2022, Licheng started his independent career at IMM, China. His research interest focuses on chemoenzymatic synthesis of drug molecules and bioactive natural products, including the discovery, evolution and application of enzymes, as well as incorporate both chemosynthesis and enzymatic catalysis into the precise synthesis strategy.
