Brief Introduction

Work experience

2003 –present: Institute of Materia Medica, Peking Union Medical College and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Tutor for graduate and PI in 2006, professor in 2010.

2001- 2003: Postdoctoral researcher, Institute of Materia Medica, Peking Union Medical College.

1999-2000: Visiting Scholar, Natural Medicine and Phytochemistry, Meiji Pharmaceutical University, Japan.

1997-2001: Assistant, Lecturer, at the department of Phytochemistry, School of Pharmacy, Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine.

Research fields

The main research fields are to reveal chemical constituents from Traditional Chinese Medicine, on the basis of organic chemistry and analytic chemistry, by extracting, separating the substance and elucidating the structures;

To discovery biological active substances through animals and cells screening, using a wide range of  in  vitro and  in vivo screening tests.
