Chen Dawei graduated from Peking Union Medical College with Ph. D degree in 2016. Then he joined the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. His research interest focused on the biosynthesis of medicinal natural glycosides. As the first author, he has published 12 SCI papers in famous international journals, such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Catalysis, Organic Letters, etc. In 2018, he won the honor of "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Peking Union Medical College". In 2016, he was awarded the title of "Outstanding Graduate of Beijing Normal University".
